Ciudad de México
Con el uso de las llamadas ecotecnologías, el Gobierno del Distrito Federal busca reducir 8 millones de contaminantes que se emiten en el desarrollo de obras en la ciudad.
Alfredo Hernández, Secretario de Obras y Servicios del DF, dijo en entrevista que a través de la implementación de elementos sustentables se tendrá una mejor calidad de la infraestructura y una reducción de los contaminantes.
“La integración de elementos sustentables en la infraestructura que se desarrolla en la Ciudad de México están encaminadas a cumplir con el Plan General de Desarrollo del Distrito Federal, coadyuvar con el cuidado al medio ambiente y, sobre todo aprovechar de manera adecuada los recursos naturales”, expresó el funcionario.
“Aunado a estas medidas aplicadas por la secretaría en el desarrollo de inmuebles, en obras viales se integran luminarias de menor voltaje y con tecnología menos contaminante como las utilizadas en el Programa Iluminamos tu Ciudad, las cuales gastan entre 140 y 90 watts, evitan la contaminación lumínica y poseen muy poco material contaminante, para que cuando termine su periodo de vida útil el tratamiento para su disposición final no sea tan invasiva”.
Algunos de los elementos que permiten tener mejor calidad del aire son la instalación de paneles de captación solar, agua y reciclaje.
En la Ciudad de México se emiten anualmente cerca de 31 millones de toneladas de dióxido de carbono a la atmósfera y más de 50 por ciento la genera la industria de la construcción, de acuerdo con el Centro Mario Molina y el Programa de Acción Climática de la Ciudad de México 2014-2020.
Por ello, la Secretaría de Obras y Servicios se fijó una meta para de disminuir 8 millones de toneladas de dióxido de carbono al 2020, conforme al Programa General de Desarrollo del Distrito Federal 2013-2018, dedicado al desarrollo económico sustentable.
Hernández indicó que para lograr ese objetivo, se realizan obras y se toman medidas apegados a lineamientos de sustentabilidad.
Por ejemplo, en la construcción de la Preparatoria Iztapalapa 4 del Instituto de Educación Media Superior (IEMS), obra que encabeza la Secretaría de Obras y Servicios, se incorporará un sistema de captación pluvial mediante coladeras, que permiten concentrar el agua, filtrarla y conducirla hasta la cisterna del plantel, la cual tiene capacidad para 19 mil litros.
Ese líquido se utilizará para el riego de áreas verdes, limpieza general de instalaciones y en la red sanitaria.
Otra de las obras, la Línea 6 del Metrobús, la Sobse obligó a la empresa constructora para colocar jardines verticales, que mejoran la imagen urbana y amplían las zonas verdes en la capital.
En materia de salud, se construye un anexo del Hospital General de Iztapalapa, que contará con un sistema de precalentamiento solar que consiste en la colocación de paneles solares en la azotea para captar la energía.
