Por segundo año consecutivo, Banco Santander fue nombrado como “Mejor banco de infraestructura en México” por la revista LatinFinance. La publicación también premió la participación del banco en el Gasoducto Los Ramones II, con tres reconocimientos: mejor proyecto, mejor financiamiento y mejor financiamiento en infraestructura.
Estos reconocimientos destacan el impulso que da Santander a los sectores de energía e infraestructura, donde financió más de 14 proyectos con un valor superior a los 88 mil millones de pesos en el último año, señala en un comunicado.
Según el reporte, el banco se destacó recientemente por su participación en el financiamiento de los gasoductos los Ramones II Norte, Ramones II Sur para Petróleos Mexicanos y el Encino-la Laguna para la CFE, que son parte de la implementación de la reforma energética de México.
Entre ellos sobresale el papel del banco en el gasoducto los Ramones II Norte, donde Santander actuó como único banco asegurador del financiamiento por mil 275 millones de dólares, el cual representa el financiamiento más grande de un proyecto de infraestructura bajo legislación mexicana.
Refiere que la semana pasada, Santander fue parte protagónica en el grupo de instituciones que participan en el crédito por tres mil millones de dólares para la primera fase del Nuevo Aeropuerto de la Ciudad de México, que fue el crédito revolvente sindicado más grande que se haya otorgado en América Latina.
